Holbrook founded ActorIntro in 2009, a video production service for actors who create their own demo reels or self tapes, which can be viewed by casting directors, agents and managers. He acquired Actors Insite in 2015, an established actor/industry online feedback loop.
Formerly a news anchor at the WPIX and NY1 networks in New York City, and later for BusinessWeek Weekend (1999), Holbrook also produced and hosted the weekly show "Tennis Television with Brad Holbrook (1993)" for five years in the 1990s. From 2009 to 2012, he played Jim Haggerty on The Onion News Network's web and TV episodes of "Porkin' Across America: Today Now! (2012)".
