He starred as Murat Sarsilmaz, opposite to Hande Erçel, in the television series Aşk Laftan Anlamaz, and later with Hazal Kaya in Bizim Hikaye, which is inspired by the British TV show Shameless. In 2018, Deniz starred in his debut film Arada which is about a punk singer who wants leave Turkey, sending him on a nightmarish, hallucinatory trip through Istanbul.
