Claire Coffee is an American actress, writer, and director. She is best known for her roles as Janie Ross on NBC's Chuck, Adalind Schade on NBC's Grimm, and Nadine Crowell on ABC's General Hospital. She has also appeared in films such as The Ugly Truth, The House Bunny, and The Perfect Man. Coffee was born in San Francisco, California, and raised in the nearby town of Mill Valley. She attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she earned a degree in theater arts. Coffee began her acting career in the early 2000s, appearing in a number of television shows, including Charmed, CSI: Miami, and Nip/Tuck. She also had a recurring role on the NBC series Chuck, playing the character Janie Ross. In 2011, Coffee was cast as Adalind Schade on the NBC series Grimm. She played the role for five seasons, until the show's conclusion in 2017. In addition to her acting career, Coffee has also written and directed a number of short films.
