He began his career in the 1930s, appearing in films such as The Big Broadcast of 1936 (1936), The Big Broadcast of 1937 (1937), and The Big Broadcast of 1938 (1938). He also appeared in the classic film The Wizard of Oz (1939). Reichert continued to appear in films throughout the 1940s and 1950s, including The Great Gildersleeve (1942), The Miracle of Morgan's Creek (1944), and The Seven Year Itch (1955). He also appeared in numerous television series, including The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (1952-1966), The Donna Reed Show (1958-1966), and The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968). Reichert passed away on April 28, 1998 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 85. His net worth at the time of his death is unknown.
