In late 1970 it was announced that the production of 'The man Born to be Queen' in which she, Lionel Jeffries and Wilfred Hyde White were to star had been delayed until Spring '71 due to Tony Curtis being involved in filming a television series for Lew Grade. In the finish it was never made.

After a very successful film run during the 1960s and 1970s, Judy took a trip to the US in October 1984, choosing to stay on for a while.
