She is best known for her work on the films The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009), The Girl Who Played with Fire (2009), and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009). Bjorklund was born on 8 July 1955 in Stockholm, Sweden. She began her career in the film industry in the late 1980s, working as a production assistant on the Swedish television series, The Adventures of Pippi Longstocking. She then went on to work as a production coordinator on the Swedish films, The Best Intentions (1992) and Sunday's Children (1992). In 2009, Bjorklund worked as a production manager on the Swedish-American film trilogy, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. She also worked as a production manager on the Swedish television series, Wallander (2008-2009). Bjorklund has also worked as a production manager on the Swedish films, The Hypnotist (2012), A Man Called Ove (2015), and The Circle (2017).
