Ozzie Guillen is a Venezuelan former professional baseball player and manager. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the White Sox, Orioles, and Braves, and managed the White Sox, Marlins, and White Sox again. He is currently the manager of the Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos of the Mexican League. Guillen was born in Ocumare del Tuy, Venezuela, and grew up in the city of Valencia. He was signed by the San Diego Padres as an amateur free agent in 1980. He made his major league debut with the White Sox in 1985, and played for them until 1997. He was a four-time All-Star, and won a Gold Glove Award in 1990. Guillen began his managerial career with the White Sox in 2004, and led them to a World Series championship in 2005. He was named American League Manager of the Year in 2005 and 2008. He managed the Marlins from 2012 to 2013, and returned to the White Sox in 2020. As of 2021, Ozzie Guillen's net worth is estimated to be $20 million.
