Since 2006 to 2009 he played in 44 episodes of McLeod's Daughters as Phil Rakich. More recently in 2012 he played in a TV movie, Dangerous Remedy, as Robbie McGregor.
He began his music career in 1969 with the French Horn in the CCGS Orchestra. Hardy began his career on stage on the show "Revue - The Other Opening". More recently he played and sang in "An Officer And A Gentleman" in the Lyric Theatre in Sydney under the direction of Simon Phillips.
