Rene Dupree is a Canadian professional wrestler who is best known for his time in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He is a former WWE Tag Team Champion and was the youngest wrestler to ever win a championship in the company. He is also a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and a former WWE European Champion. He has also competed in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and various independent promotions. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling. Dupree began his wrestling career in 2000, training with his father, Jacques Rougeau, Sr. He made his professional debut in 2001, competing in various independent promotions in Canada. In 2003, he signed a developmental contract with WWE and was assigned to their developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). He made his WWE debut in 2004, as part of the tag team La Resistance with Sylvain Grenier. The team won the WWE Tag Team Championship in 2004 and held it until 2005. In 2005, Dupree won the WWE Intercontinental Championship, becoming the youngest wrestler to ever win a championship in the company. He held the title until 2006, when he was released from his contract. After his release, Dupree competed in various independent promotions, including TNA. He returned to WWE in 2007, competing in the ECW brand. He won the WWE European Championship in 2008, before being released from his contract again in 2009. Since then, Dupree has competed in various independent promotions, including Impact Wrestling. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling and is a former Impact World Tag Team Champion.
