She is the daughter of actor Eddie De Leon and actress Amalia Fuentes. She has two siblings, actor Mark Anthony Fernandez and actress Michael de Leon. Andolong began her career in the late 1970s, appearing in various television shows and films. She rose to fame in the 1980s with her roles in films such as "Temptation Island" (1980), "Bagets" (1984), and "Kapag Puno na ang Salop" (1986).
