Trevor Cook is a retired English footballer who played as a midfielder. He was born on 2 July 1956 in Blidworth, England. Cook began his career with Nottingham Forest in 1974, making his debut in a 1–0 win over Manchester City in the League Cup. He went on to make over 200 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals. He also had loan spells with Notts County and Mansfield Town. In 1984, Cook joined Sheffield Wednesday, where he made over 100 appearances and scored 8 goals. He then moved to Derby County in 1988, where he made over 100 appearances and scored 4 goals. Cook retired from professional football in 1992, having made over 500 appearances in his career. Cook is married to his wife, Sue, and has two children. He currently works as a coach at Nottingham Forest.
